Enter into the bliss of quiet with our Fall silent retreat.

This time blends the beauty and holiness of Well of Mercy with a guided Silent Retreat. The two days include free time to enjoy our 110 acres with over two miles of walking trails, the beauty of nature, Prayer Path and 14 Prayer Stations, Chapel of Mercy in the woods, cozy library, gift shop, labyrinth, screened porch pavilion and lovely resting spots along the creek.

Our retreat introduction begins with a welcome video allowing time to meet staff and engage in a centering exercise before entering into silence. This lays the foundation for our guided retreat as we prepare to enter into a time with the Holy. Daily guidance will be provided each morning in writing with an outdoor group gathering each afternoon (weather permitting).

The retreat includes opportunities for rest, reflection, prayer, meditation, journaling, and mindfulness; weaving together meditative music, scripture, modern wisdom, reflective questions and walks in nature. Well of Mercy is all about The Quiet so come prepared to joyfully un-plug because not only does technology interfere with our natural rhythms, our WiFi and cell service are very spotty.

Therapeutic services are provided at an additional fee and are scheduled directly with the providers. You will receive their contact information with your retreat confirmation. They can answer any questions about the service.

Cost: $280 for private room/private bath

Silent Retreat Testimonial:

"My time at "The Well" was everything I needed! From the moment I saw “Mercy Lane”, I knew that this was a place I would find peace and comfort. When I walked into the Chapel that first day, I made a commitment to God and myself that I would receive humbly, with open arms the gift of being cared for by others. For the first time in my life, I felt the loving spirit of my creator like I had never experienced Him before. Thank you All for the gift of knowing that I am Well loved." Amy

Retreat led by Sandra O'Brien, Well of Mercy's Executive Director, and Connie Hoffner, Program Coordinator & Healing Touch Practitioner.
