Virtual Circle Gathering
Sacred Circle Breathing Space
"What makes a fire burn is the space between the logs, a breathing space"...by Judy Burns
Join Well of Mercy in a virtual "Sacred Circle Breathing Space" via Zoom for a time of rest, reflection and renewal. Rejuvenate the fires of your heart with a pause - a chance to breathe.
During the last year, we have been stretched in our journey to rethink our approach to sharing God's Light in these challenging and ever-changing times. We are called to trust our transformation as we support ourselves and others to kindle "the fire" by allowing nurturing and care of our breathing space.
Healing circles are often called hocokah in the Lakota language, which means a Sacred Circle and is also the word for altar. The hocokah consists of people who sit together in a talking circle, in prayer, in ceremony, and are committed to helping one another and to each other's healing. Sacred Circles are considered to be Holy and deserving of respect and commitment to God.
Well of Mercy’s Virtual Sacred Circle will be an opportunity to sit together in a talking circle with prayer, quiet reflection, readings, wholly & Holy listening, and ceremony, with the focus on supporting each other. Join this virtual Sacred Circle to give yourself breathing space.
This virtual gathering will be held January, February, and March on the fourth Tuesday from 4:00-5:00pm EST. Each circle is separate so you can select which one(s) you wish to attend. Each requires a separate registration. Please let us know if after registering you find yourself unable to attend and we will open to others. Maximum number of participates is 12.
The Circles are offered as a gift for anyone that would like to participate. Free-will donations are much appreciated and can be made during the registration process. Thank you for supporting the ongoing ministry at Well of Mercy.
