Two Day Guided Silent Retreat at Well of Mercy
Seeking Clarity During The Great Pause
Seeking Clarity During the Great Pause blends the beauty and holiness of Well of Mercy with a guided silent retreat for a limited number of guests. The two days include free time to enjoy our 110 acres with over two miles of walking trails, a labyrinth, screened porch, Chapel of Mercy in the woods, and lovely resting spots along the creek.
Our retreat introduction begins on Sunday, September 13 via a ZOOM call at 4pm; allowing time to meet each and have conversation before entering into silence. During the call we will lay the foundation for our guided retreat as we prepare to enter into a time with the Holy. There will be limited group gatherings while on property; which will occur out-of-doors and social distanced 6 feet apart. Daily guidance will be provided each morning in writing with an outdoor group gathering each evening.
The retreat includes opportunities for rest, reflection, prayer, meditation, journaling, and mindfulness; weaving together meditative music, scripture, modern wisdom, reflective questions and walks in nature. Well of Mercy is all about The Quiet so come prepared to joyfully un-plug because not only does technology interfere with our natural rhythms, our WiFi and cell service are very spotty.
Therapeutic services are provided at an additional fee and tickets can be purchased when you purchase the retreat ticket. Note: Gratuity is not included in the service fee. Please limit your request to one service until all have had the opportunity to register. The providers will contact you with your appointment time. If you have questions about a service, please contact the providers directly.
Retreat is led by Sandra O'Brien, Well of Mercy's Executive Director, and Connie Hoffner, Program Coordinator & Healing Touch Practitioner.
MAX Number of Retreatants: 8
Cost: $245 for private room $310 for private cottage
Social distancing measures will be maintained during presentations, meals, as well as during alone time. Face coverings are required while inside (unless in private bedroom) and outside within 6' of others. Daily temperature checks are also part of our safety protocols.
Please contact our office at 704-539-5449 if you have questions about this retreat, our COVID protocols, or entering into silence.
Blessings on your journey.
